During Physical Education class, the Rolling Hills students are engaged in a variety of activities including basic locomotor movements for gross and fine motor development, cooperative play, fitness and wellness activities, sports and much more! The curriculum addresses the New York State Learning standards and is a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate program. Character education is also a focus of Physical Education lessons. Students have many opportunities to learn how to share equipment, be a leader and respect their fellow classmates.
Some of the special physical education programs we enjoy at Rolling Hills include Walking Wednesday, Family Fitness Night, Field Day, Rolling Hills is Fit to Read and Jump Rope for Heart.
